This term (Fall 2015) I will be teaching TIMG 5006 and TIMG 5105.
This course examines topics relevant to the management of software engineering projects. Examples are drawn from the development of new technology products. The specific focus of the course will be on opportunity development, agile practices, and open source development.
This course helps entrepreneurs and product managers understand the role of communities in innovation (eg peer production and crowdsourcing). It provides them with tools for designing communities, and guidelines for selecting the technology for supporting a community.
