·         #28 (May 04) All the marks are available above. The grades were submitted earlier today; the grades will be available at the Carleton Central portal after the approval by the University (perhaps on Monday). Here is the grade distribution:

·         #27 (Apr 13) I will be away during April 14-19 attending a conference, IEEE Wireless Communications and Networking Conference 2018. I wish you all the best in all your final exams including SYSC 4700.

 

·         #26 (Apr 13) Information about the final exam:

 

o   The final exam covers all the lectures. However, the priority will be given to the lectures after the term exam.

o   Part of the questions will be qualitative, while some others will be quantitative. The quantitative questions will mainly be from the lectures that I delivered.

o   The exam will include a high number of short questions.

o   A two-page aid-sheet is allowed. Non-programmable calculators are allowed.

o   Cell phones are not allowed. Internet access is not allowed.

·         #24 (Apr 09) The SCE website and servers were down for about 24 hours from Sunday morning to Monday morning. Therefore, the Assignment 3 submission deadline is extended to 2:00 pm tomorrow, Tuesday, April 10.

·         #16 (Feb 13) The term exam will be held this Thursday, on Feb 15, during the lecture time (10:10 – 11:25 am), in the lecture room. This is a 75-min exam; please arrive on time. The exam will cover all the lectures including today’s lecture on telecom standards (lecture 11). This is a closed-book exam, no aid-sheet will be allowed. You must bring a calculator. Cell phones are not allowed in the exam. Going through the previous years’ term exam questions will be helpful to you.

The course outline gives Jan 18 as the date for the sign-up sheet postings; but I decided to get the ball rolling earlier, as the confirmation from Bell has already been received.
