You can read department mail via a web browser at https://webmail.sce.carleton.ca. There are three clients available.

If you want to configure your mail client (Thunderbird, Outlooke etc) , we provide IMAP protocol support. To configure you mail client, you may need the following information.

Outgoing mail/SMTP server:

Use "smtp.sce.carleton.ca" or the smtp address provided by your ISP. For smtp.sce.carleton.ca, use Port 587, connection security STARTTLS, authenticatin nomral password. Also see SMTP-AUTH>

IMAP server:

Use "imap.sce.carleton.ca" for reading incoming mail via IMAP protocol. Port 993, connection security SSL/TLS, authentication normal password.
