Abstract

A web-based induction motor drive using constant v/f speed control is presented. The controller model is built in Matlab and executable codes for C2000 DSP are generated, creating the major part of this application. A Labview web client is designed for reference signal generation and output measurements via Internet. The data interconnection is established between the motor controller and the local host computer using the serial communication. Inverter dead-time effects are analyzed and compensated based on the pulse-based method. Experimental results are presented to confirm the performance of the induction motor drive.
