Jim Zhanwen Li: Biography

Jim ZW Li is now a researcher in NICTA, Australia. He finished his Ph.D from the Department of Systems and Computer Engineering, University of Carleton, (Ottawa, Canada). He was a research student in CERAS and a doctoral fellow at IBM CAS (Toronto, Canada).

His research interests lie broadly in the fields of cloud computing, software performance, operations research, distributed systems, and services computing. Prof. Murray Woodside, Prof. John Chenneck and Prof. Marin Litoiu were his Ph.D thesis supervisors.

He received his Master's degrees respectively from the University of Sydney (UoSyd) (Software Engineering) and UNSW (Systems and Control). His B.Eng was received from South China University of Technology (China). Before his Ph.D study, He worked for several research institutes, including CSIRO, UNSW, and USyd.
