ATLAS: an specification language for traffic modelling and simulation

In this thesis, a high-level specification language was developed with the goal of model and simulate urban traffic. The high level constructions are mapped into Cell-DEVS models, providing a formal approach to solve the problem. The final result is a language allowing the user to study detailed problems with little programming effort.
