Jerome (Jerry) Rolia is an Associate Professor in the Department of Systems and Computer Engineering at Carleton University. His current interests include software performance engineering, analytic modelling, and the measurement, model building, and management of distributed application systems.
The work is focused on developing tools and methods that can be used to manage the performance of software systems from the requirements stage through to maintenance and capacity planning. He can be reached by e-mail at jar@sce.carleton.ca.
Current research themes include: automated model building methods for distributed application systems using Application Response Measurement (ARM) APIs, and performance evaluation for electronic commerce systems.
