Dr. Pearce was hired in 1984 with the primary responsibility of supporting
the undergraduate program. Following his two-year term as the Department’s
Associate Chair for Undergraduate Studies (1996 – 1998), Dr. Pearce has
been involved increasingly in the graduate program and research activities.
