Submitting Assignments
-
In the submit program, enter your student number, password, and the assignment
number. Then press the "submit" button.
-
Select the .cpp file that contains your program, then press OK. If you
can't find your program, try looking in different folders. Likely spots
are under "A:" or "C:\TEMP".
-
Verify that the program shown is in fact what you want to submit.
-
Check the formating and indentation of your program to make sure it is
as you intended.
-
Since different compilers/text editors interpret tab characters differently,
you may have to adjust the "tab stop" scroller in the lower-right corner
of the window until your indentation is correct.
-
When you are ready to submit, press the "submit" button.
-
You will be given a unique serial number. Record this number in a safe
place, as you will need it if we "lose" your assignment. This is your proof
that your sumbmitted your program.
-
If you do not get a serial number then your program was not submitted.
-
If you are unable to submit your program because of technical difficulties
or because you forgot your password, send your program to bryant@sce.carleton.ca
as an email attachment. This will not be accepted as a submitted program,
but will give you a 24 hour extension for you to come see me (John Bryant)
so we can fix the problem.
Changing your Password or Email Address
-
In the submit program, enter your student number and password, then press
the "update" button.
-
Enter your new password and email address.

Press OK.
Note: If you only want to change your email address, you don't have
to change the default values in the "password" boxes. Similarly, if you
only want to change your password, you do not have to retype your email
address.
